Cheer Expenses Broken Down

As we near the beginning of a new school year. I would like to remind all of you about the expenses.

Shirts and shorts     24.95
Uniforms                163.4
Shoes                      45.95
Poms                      17.73
Camp                     75
party expenses       9

Total                     336.03 - 4 payments of $84.00

We did not earn quite enough at the first bake sale so we need to add in:

Warm ups               8 (Paityn 38)
New Total due by the end of this month            $344.03 so for your last payment just tack on $8.00 to cover the rest of the warm ups (Paityn $383.03 your cookie dough fundraiser easily covers this : ) way to go)

Now for the 4 girls that participated in the cookie dough fundraiser. I will see you Monday at 1:45 to give you your dough and money.

I had a few responses from the survey I sent out a month ago regarding the extras the girls want. Sherrie has willingly volunteered to help order the extra things the girls want. I want to encourage the girls to use the funds you earned this summer to pay for these things. I do not want this to become a negative situation for anyone. I hope the extra items ordered will be at a minimum and will be at amounts you are all comfortable with. Sherri was the only Mom to volunteer. Please be kind and respectful to her. It is not easy to make everyone happy. Extra shirts were the second most important thing, after the warm-ups, followed by a bag. I am happy to suggest a few companies that you can get these items for a great price. Sherrie I will contact you soon to make sure that you are still okay with this : )

Other than making suggestions I really do not want to be involved with these extra items. I hope that doesn't sound bratty. I tried this year to follow the example of the cheer coach at Mattheson. She has been doing this for years. She orders the necessities and all of the extras are earned and ordered via Moms and fundraisers. It was a trial run this year and it was a lot tougher than I expected.

Lets get ready to kick off this school year with a bang. I mentioned last week that the girl that has practiced her three dances the most and can show me how well she knows them will get a prize. Drum roll please . . . . . . . . . . . The winner will choreograph and teach a dance to the boys cheer team for spirit week. Game on ladies. I hope you have been practicing.
